Christmas at Kids Company -

Kids Company will be holding a huge party for over 4,000 children, young people and their families complete with games, storytelling, a Santa's grotto, a Christmas dinner and presents! The charity also aims to support a further 12,000 in the community with desperately needed food and gift parcels. Kids Company creates all of this with the help of over 300 volunteers who work to make a magical Christmas that the children can look forward to.

Founder and CEO Camila Batmanghelidjh says:

When you are left alone on Christmas Day, the most painful shame takes over. No family or friend to turn to on a day when everyone is gathered together. It is for the children, young people and traumatised carers who are terrified of Christmas that we open on Christmas Day at Kids Company. It's a joyful, mad, ramshackle day enriched by the generosity of complete strangers. On the 25th of December we bring together those who have needs and those who can meet them in one big celebration .

Kids Company hopes that with the help of the public, they can raise enough funds to provide the children, young people and distressed carers that access Kids Company's services with warm clothing, a hot meal and support during what can be extremely challenging months for them and their families.

Ella's Kitchen + Kids Company

This Christmas Ella's Kitchen is teaming up with Kids Company, with at least 30p from each sale of the limited edition jingle belly Christmas Dinner going to help vulnerable children + disadvantaged families across the UK.

Banana Republic and Black Friday!

Showing their Christmas spirit in spades, US retailer Banana Republic have pledged to donate £1 for every single item purchased in UK stores from Black Friday' (28th November) to Sunday 30thNovember to Kids Company. So if you're about to dive into the Christmas shopping frenzy, make sure you pop into Banana Republic and check out their extremely gift able wares for both the ladies and gents.

Radley bags full of Christmas spirit!

When you visit any of the 21 Radley stores and 14 outlets, you can make a donation at the till and give a vulnerable child the gift of Christmas. This wonderful initiative asks the customers of Radley to add £1 to their transaction over the Christmas period .

Liberty for Kids Company

Once again, Liberty of London will be stocking Christmas cards designed by our children. 50% of all proceeds from these sales will be going straight to Kids Company. Along with this they will be asking customers to add £1 to their online / in-store purchases in the lead-up to Christmas.

Hotel Caf Royal and Kids Company

Hotel Caf Royal will be adding £1 on the bill across all their restaurants and bars from 13th November 2014 and until 5thJanuary 2015. Another fantastic fundraising initiative includes a £40 donation from every Festive Family Time overnight package sold. So now you can indulge whilst helping others!

The Holly and the Ivy Market Grill

The Ivy Market Grill, a Covent Garden-based off shoot of The Ivy, which opened its doors on yesterday. When booking at this fabulous new restaurant, why not bring along a newly bought Christmas gift. No, no it's not for the matradee, not even for the sommelier - It's for Kids Company! To reward your generosity The Ivy Market Grill will offer you a free ice cream at the end of your meal. Glamour and Gap's - Wonder Women Event

Location -GAP, 376 Oxford Street, London, W1

Date 2 December 2014, starting at 6.30pm and finishing at 8.30pm

The wonderful team at Glamour and Gap have put their fashionable heads together and come up with a marvellous event. GLAMOUR editor Jo Elvin, will be in conversation with journalist and TV presenter Jane Moore, executive director of Gap's award-winning P.A.C.E education programme, Dotti Hatcher; our founder and CEO, Camila Batmanghelidjh; and DJ and radio presenter, Annie Mac. Learn from their inspiring life and career experiences and have the chance to partake in a Q and A. There will also be cocktails, goody bags, exclusive discounts and your ticket includes the option to bring along a female guest who inspires you. DO IT FOR CHARITY SANTA FUN RUN'

VICTORIA PARK, EAST LONDON

7TH DECEMBER

Over 2,000 people are expected to take part in this year's annual Doitforcharity Santa Fun Run in Victoria Park with both 5 & 10k routes available.

No previous experience is required for this event and with a bit of training the 5km or 10km distances should easily be within your capabilities, and you even get your own Santa suit! The spirit of the event is taking part' not winning' so you can run, jog or walk you decide.
