EVS brings the latest live production solutions to BVE 06

EVS, the leading provider of live production solutions, will be talking about 4K live production requirements at BVE 2016, as well as the latest channel max configurations for its live production servers. There will be three key demonstration areas running on its stand (J05), these will be

Live production

EVS fast and reliable tools enable operators within OB facilities and production galleries to improve their efficiency and storytelling capabilities during live production. On show will be LSM Connect, the powerful tablet-based solution which allows clip and playlist management that connects directly to an XT3 server and LSM remote configuration. In addition, the MultiReview tool that enriches sports productions will be on display. It enables directors and operators to make critical selection decisions on the fly by showing up to 12 different camera angles on one screen. For graphic overlay insertions in real-time or for instant replays, EVS will also be demonstrating its Epsio live graphics suite which includes Epsio FX, Epsio Live, Epsio Paint and Epsio Zoom. These tools add value to commentators live analyses without requiring additional resources.

Broadcast centre

EVS advanced live production asset management solutions for the broadcast centre are designed to enable better content management and integration for a faster turnaround of content. Its content management solution, IPDirector, will be at BVE and visitors will be able to see how it delivers total control of productions via EVS servers integrated into any workflow. Also on display will be the Ingest Funnel, a unique portal developed by EVS that transforms, legalises and masters content on ingest. Through its single interface, ingest Funnel gets content ready for air, archive and post production, no matter the format. It creates an easy, efficient way to ingest content for professional-quality broadcast. Alongside these solutions will be the Xedio CleanEdit tool which offers unmatched HD/SD editing features that have been optimised for news and sports highlights production. This allows support for multiple formats and resolutions on the same timeline.

Dyvi IT-based production switcher

At the show, EVS will be showcasing Dyvi, its IT-based production switcher. Built on an IP infrastructure, enabling users to create and control content with unprecedented flexibility. Combining an easy to use operational interface with high-end functions, the hybrid switching solution makes the system ideal for any studio with a number of control rooms or multi-venue campuses. Dyvis distributed architecture enables everything from cross-campus transport to cross-continent delivery, making it ideal for remote productions.
