Telekom Slovenije was granted the rights to broadcast UEFA Champions League games Ljubljana 11 June A new 3-year cycle for the rights to broadcast UEFA Champions League games is starting. For this period Telekom has received these rights. Telekom Slovenia was granted exclusive rights to broadcast 128 Champions League games a season, including Tuesday's best games and all other games as well, except for Wednesday's best games. They will also be broadcasting the Champions League finals and the UEFA Super Cup finals for all 3 seasons.

At the beginning of this 3-year period for UEFA television broadcasting rights, Telekom Slovenije has secured rights for its users to watch Champions League action for the next 3 seasons.

Exclusive broadcast of 128 games

Telekom Slovenije has secured the rights to 130 games, of which it has exclusive rights to 128 games. Everything from qualifications up to the Champions League and UEFA Super Cup finals for 3 seasons. The best games from Tuesday will be broadcast on the new Planet TV channel, and the other 112 games will only be available to SiOL users. They will be able to watch several Champions league games on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at the same time, all with Slovenian commentators. They will also have the option of watching the complete archive of past games and the Champions League magazine, as well as other interesting content.

The first time in Slovenia in HD

SiOL TV subscribers will be able to watch all the 130 games for which Telekom Slovenije has secured the rights in HD, which is a first in Slovenia. The second big new thing is having all 130 Champions League games broadcast live with Slovenian commentators. As Telekom Slovenije has rights to all the games, users can decide for themselves which game to watch.
