Cobalt Digital has announced its NAB 2026 product lineup, which includes additions to its IPMX and ST 2110 product range.
blueCORE - Cobalt will debut blueCORE, a family of 1RU standalone signal processors, at NAB. Further details are expected before the show.
PACIFIC - The PACIFIC compression line will be shown with an ST 2110/IPMX output option for the PACIFIC ULL-DEC software-defined broadcast decoder, allowing decoded content to be available simultaneously over SDI and ST 2110/IPMX. For ST 2110 operation, a built-in frame sync will emit a PTP-locked signal. Cobalt is also introducing a DVB-S/S2 factory-installed demodulator option for decoding and pass-through of satellite signals on ASI and over IP. The PACIFIC line will also add support for hybrid Satellite-Internet operation compliant with VSR TR-06-4 Part 7, in which satellite is used for bulk distribution and the internet is used to recover lost packets.
openGear Cards - Cobalt is introducing two new fixed-function openGear cards. The 9925-FSx Frame Sync card is a single-path frame sync card with license upgrades available for up to four paths and audio processing including AES, MADI and DANTE 64. The 9981-LUTx Color Processor card is an entry-level color processing card with license upgrades available for up to four paths, with options including SCALER, BBC LUT, COLOR, 4K, LOGO and ANC.
ARIA AUD-MON - The ARIA AUD-MON is an IPMX-compliant audio monitor with 16 SDI or 64 MADI metering in a rack-mount form factor. It features a touch display front panel with eight individual volume controls and can also be controlled via a web interface. Cobalt will also show the 9935-AUD4-DANTE, a quad-channel card with up to 12G DANTE/AES/MADI/embed and de-embed functions, two gigabit Ethernet ports, a 64 64 configuration and an audio router mixer.
UltraBlue MV-SW - The UltraBlue MV-SW multiviewer is available as a turnkey solution with four HDMI heads or as a software package for customer-supplied hardware. It supports compressed and baseband audio/video content over IP across multiple protocols, SDI inputs and outputs, and now includes IPMX support.
SAPPHIRE Mini Converters - The SAPPHIRE mini converter family includes single, dual and quad channel models, with some capable of simultaneous transmit and receive. The units convert between IPMX- and ST 2110-compatible signals and SDI/HDMI, with support for baseband video and JPEG-XS.
INDIGO - The INDIGO gateway solutions bridge SDI and IP workflows with support for both IPMX and ST 2110.
