METLIFE DECLARES SECOND QUARTER 0 PREFERRED STOCK DIVIDENDS

NEW YORK - May 15, 2013 MetLife, Inc. (NYSE: MET) announced today that it has declared second quarter 2013 dividends of $0.2555555 per share on the company's floating rate non-cumulative preferred stock, Series A (NYSE: METPrA), and $0.4062500 per share on the company's 6.50% non-cumulative preferred stock, Series B (NYSE: METPrB). Both dividends are payable June 17, 2013 to shareholders of record as of May 31, 2013.
