Instrument now boasts full NKS support

Sub51 and Soundtrax have just announced the launch of an updated and improved version of their innovative sample-based virtual instrument. Capable of blending up to four custom sound sources, Drop Pad 3 retains the intuitive drag-and-drop operation of its predecessor, but delivers a range of enhancements and now boasts deeper integration with supported hardware controllers thanks to full NKS support.

Low-pass, peak and high-pass filters controllable by Warp LFOs.

Modular effects section with 14 insert or main effects, six delay models and six reverb algorithms.

Nektar Panorama CS12 integration.

Compatibility Drop Pad 3 runs in Native Instruments Kontakt Player 8, or the full Kontakt 8, which are supported on PCs running Windows 10 and above, and Macs running macOS 13 and higher. VST3, AU and AAX plug-ins are available, along with standalone applications.

Pricing & Availability Drop Pad 3 is available now, and is being offered at an introductory price of £67.20 until 13 July 2025, when it will increase to its full price of £84.
