Huawei ha firmado un Memorando de Entendimiento (MoU) no vinculante para explorar posibles v as de cooperaci n de cara a adoptar soluciones de cloud computing.
Ambas partes trabajar n juntas para examinar las mejores opciones disponibles para lanzar la plataforma de pr xima generaci n de contenido online de Al Jazeera Media Network. Huawei y Al Jazeera tambi n explorar n opciones para digitalizar el contenido anal gico de la Red y archivarlo en l nea usando tecnolog as basadas en nube.
Zong Yan, CEO de Huawei Qatar, ha destacado que este acuerdo nos ofrece una oportunidad nica de aprovechar nuestra oferta en la esfera de medios en nube tanto a nivel regional como global. La soluci n de medios en nube de Huawei soporta la producci n y difusi n de video, ofreciendo a Al Jazeera una plataforma que reemplaza m ltiples sistemas de manejo de medios tradicionales e independientes con una nica infraestructura universal, con capacidades de procesamiento treinta veces m s r pidas que los dispositivos de transcodificaci n existentes .
La soluci n Media Cloud de Huawei emplea una arquitectura convergente y recursos de procesamiento de medios para computaci n, almacenamiento, migraci n y administraci n. La soluci n permite la convergencia entre ingesta, edici n, difusi n y gesti n tanto con respecto a medios tradicionales como nuevos medios.
