MEDIACORP DEPLOYS ENVIVIO SOLUTION FOR SEA GAMES COVERAGE
Market-leading Muse software-based encoders enable Toggle, MediaCorp's OTT service, to deliver high quality video to any device for the SEA Games
SAN FRANCISCO, June 3, 2015 Envivio (NASDAQ: ENVI), a leading provider of software-based video processing and delivery solutions, today announced that Envivio Muse encoders have been deployed by MediaCorp for the SEA Games 2015 for its Toggle service delivering over-the-top (OTT) TV to viewers in Singapore.
The Southeast Asian (SEA) Games are held every two years and host participants from 11 countries. This year, the popular event will boast coverage of 36 sports in 402 events, from aquatics to wushu martial arts.
MediaCorp is delivering a digital 28th SEA Games to audiences in Singapore, said Joe Igoe, chief technology officer of MediaCorp. To deliver a high quality viewing experience, MediaCorp is implementing Envivio, the market leader for any-screen TV services.
