Tedial gives a giant step towards a unique collaborative workflow with its new platform MEP With Media Exchange Platform (MEP), Tedial now offers a platform for the exchange of centralized media workflows automated to deliver to multiple sites and third-party systems, eliminating unnecessary complexity that even today is a reality for many broadcasters and producers.
Hatching multiscreen we live is meaning for the broadcassters and telecoms operators an increase unprecedented and often unpredictable, in the amount of media that is exchanged each other.
These exchanges take place during production and post-production processes, as well as when the content is packaged for delivery to multiple platforms. Performing thousands of operations to drag and drop media every day using fixed folders is inefficient and doesnt make much sense at the enterprise level. It is no longer enough simply to move thousands of multimedia files over IP fast and safely. Now both broadcatsers and telcos also face the challenge of how to manage and control the large amount of media and metadata that is exchanging every day with multiple partners at any time automatically. Adapt the typical processes of transmission or rely on simple IP accelerators and own transcoding is not scalable and cost-effective.
The new platform Media Exchange Platform (MEP) of Tedial It has been designed from scratch to help producers of content, broadcasters, operators of pay TV, service providers and telecommunications companies to work in collaborative, secure and efficient way with all the media. His proposal will reduce the complexity of these processes of exchange of packaging and multimedia content, while still using standard productivity software IP from other manufacturers and solutions based on cloud storage and distribution.
Thus, broadcasters and telcos can offer multiple partners places with easy and secure access to all the material, detailing each content throughout the entire lifecycle of content production (for example, the creation of programs, news, co-production, promotions,...)
Tedial provides a platform for the exchange of centralized media workflows automated to deliver to multiple sites and third-party systems, eliminating unnecessary complexity that even today is a reality for many broadcasters and producers. MEP maximizes the reuse and reduces to a minimum reprocessing of material and allows large multimedia assets can be moved form rational optimizing the ability of centralized management of Tedial, without the need for a comprehensive it support.
An overview of all processes
Tedial MEP also provides an overview of the processes of exchange of media using a series of reports that enable service providers and telecommunications companies and content distribution platforms Exchange content automatically. Processes of typical back-end Tedial has been streamlined with this proposal include the review of content locations and the status of workflow, checking from where the content has been sent, by applying the necessary transcoding, adding subtitles and finally the quality.
MEP also allows integration with the local PAM systems, covering both media and metadata; manage multiple physical versions, audio languages, subtitle and other information assistant; automatically packaging content and metadata for delivery downstream. In addition, a series of tools enable you to add tags from search, editing, cataloging, subtitles and languages.
Esther tables, Vice President of sales and Marketing at Tedial, has ensured that "new Tedial media exchange platform is based on many years of experience in multi-site deployments. including production, archive, post-production, playout and distribution Both if its news, sports or collaborative production and downstream upstream processes during packaging and multiplatform distribution, Tedial has integrated directly a multi-tenancy media exchange and follow-up workflows that affects all the media. Thousands of exchanges of multi-format content still needed daily for its dissemination and non-linear distribution may now managed and monitored centrally with Tedial technology".
