Join us for free training and colour workshops at Baselight Week Seoul July 6-7, 2022

Our two days, which include an exclusive new Baselight 6' presentation, cover the fundamentals of colour grading, colour spaces and media management in Baselight.

Each course/day is dedicated to a different audience and combines demonstrations of techniques and features as well as hands-on exercises.

Wednesday 6 July: Beginners, Conform & Assist

2pm to 6pm In this hands-on training, we will walk you through a project from initial conform to final rendering. Along the way, we will deal with special challenges like:

Speed effects

Split screens

Multi-pasting existing grades

Compositing titles

Inserting VFX

Thursday 7 July : Look development for HDR, New Baselight 6 introduction

2pm to 6pm You will learn the general concepts of scene-referred look development.

This presentation dives into Baselight's tool set and colour management system, with a focus on HDR.

The FilmLight team will discuss the gains in productivity and creativity that NEW Baselight 6 will bring to you.

Each day starts at 2pm and finishes at 6pm, with a Q&A.

For the Wednesday session on July 6, it is required to bring a laptop compatible with Baselight STUDENT, FilmLight's software-only macOS application developed for training purposes.

Baselight STUDENT will be used during the day for practice sessions.

Registrants will be sent a software licence and media package before the course.
