Meet Popular Indian Talents at the #NewAstro Event
18th Global Indian Festival, 21 & 22 April at Mid Valley
All Malaysians are invited to a meet and greet session with their favourite local talents Denes Kumar, Vikadakavi Magen, Aanantha, Uthaya, Moon Nila, Jaysree, James, Tasha, Nithya Shree, Alvin Martin, Arulini, Orga, Mohana Raj, Kalavantika, and many more, on 21 and 22 April 2023 from 6pm until 9pm at 18th Global Indian Festival held at Mid Valley Exhibition Centre, Kuala Lumpur.
The #NewAstro event held in conjunction with the 18th Global Indian Festival will be hosted by Kogulan (RAAGA) and Vikineswary, and fans can also look forward to special sharing sessions and performances by local artistes over the two days. During this time also, Denes Kumar, award-winning producer, actor, writer, and TV host, will share with fans on the depth and breadth of Indian content available with the New Astro experience, including various international and local dramas and variety shows, cementing Astros position as the Home of Indian Entertainment.
Some popular local Tamil favourites that customers can enjoy include series Veera, Zombie Kadhali and Manmadha Bullets Reloaded, now available for streaming on Astro GO and On Demand; Pasanga and Singapenney on TV via Astro Vinmeen (Ch 202) and Astro Vaanavil (Ch 201) respectively; as well as upcoming series Jeeyum Neeyum, Family Feud Malaysia Tamil, Panas Talk and much more.
New episodes of local Tamil comedy drama series Pasanga, premiere Mondays to Thursdays at 9pm on TV and Astro GO, or stream anytime On Demand. This series is directed by popular local filmmaker, Shalini Balasundram and produced by accalaimed celebrity duo, Denes Kumar and Ts. Dr. Vimala Perumal. In addition, new episodes of local Tamil family drama series Singapenney, directed by local talent R. Perakas Rajaram, premiere every Monday to Thursday at 8pm on TV and Astro GO, or stream anytime On Demand.
