Ericsson to deploy private mobile network at Paris Airports for Groupe ADP, Hub One and Air France

The 4/5G network will serve a professional ecosystem of more than 120,000 people who work at the three Paris airports every day, across about 1,000 companies of differing sizes and sectors.

Hub One will manage and set up the network on behalf of Groupe ADP and Air France. Ericsson's technology will enable Hub One to comply with the new security obligations of France's National Agency for Security of Information Systems.

The mobile network will be effective across all outdoor spaces at the airports by the end of 2020 and indoors across all public and reserved areas for professionals working at the terminals by the end of 2021.

Groupe ADP develops and manages airports, including Paris-Charles de Gaulle, Paris-Orly and Paris-Le Bourget. In 2019, more than 108 million passengers passed through Paris A roport. More than 2.2 million metric tons of freight and mail were processed via Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly.
