Philips Professional Display Solutions has announced the appointment of Sian Rees as its new global product manager - software.
With a career spanning nearly 20 years, Rees brings AV and B2B experience to the newly-created role, having overseen a series of product launches into healthcare, pro-AV, augmented reality and hospitality in recent years.
Originally from Seattle, Rees joined Barco in 2001 and relocated to Belgium in 2006, where she went on to hold a number of different key product and program management positions over a 14-year period. This included managing the creation and launch of ClickShare.
Her responsibilities at Philips Professional Display Solutions include further developing the company's software strategy, working with partners across its Android-powered signage displays and pro TV divisions. This includes establishing new and existing partnerships to help bring even more benefits and added value for customers across multiple verticals, including the hospitality, corporate, healthcare, education, venues among many more.
