WRONG CHILL PILL BY TASNIM LANGRY

There were not enough mystics around.

Concrete chasers were providing mindsets to ground.

Eight to five and one to two hours.

--

Life spent reeling forgetting oneness.

Time set on diaries for years to fulfil.

No wonder chaos reigns, intoxicated by the wrong chill pill.

As successful as their career piques fly.

Still their insides curl and drown, making these public leaders wishing to die.

Fed only by a worldly climb to mount a corporate ladder then mountain peak.

Many make it then collapse wondering what else to seek.

If only they would at no cost God to speak.

But then the opulence and Hollywood grandeur ingrained, most too weak.

Why walk around in tattered clothes and shoes?

When life provides avenues to pick-and-refuse.

Choices made from gutsy bravado . . .

Voices heard how ever far you hide to forego.

Hardened by all the choices we made through life!

A crossroad appears in a storm and at the fork we manage strife.

Is it to conquer the rust that changes a hooter's sound to scratching?

Listen and hone the self as a melody as if God is watching.

Then birds will tease you as if a lover . . .

Bad vibes run and take cover!

Clouds mask the heat as you stroll along.

Cool breezes refresh you in heat, in nature you belong.

Like a love song when everyone chooses to sink and let loose.

A sanctity for a mindless few, they did really God choose.

No, it is not in the shoes.

It is what you refuse!
