NELVANA SIGNS NEW DEALS WITH CARTOON NETWORK LATIN AMERICA

Corus Entertainments Nelvana, one of the worlds leading international producers and distributors of children's animated and live-action content, has completed deals for 78 half hours of programming with Cartoon Network Latin America.

We're delighted to continue our valuable relationship with Cartoon Network Latin America, said Jerry Diaz, Vice President of Sales for Nelvana. The fact that they have acquired additional seasons of these programs shows the strength of our portfolio of new animated comedies.

Cartoon Network Latin America has purchased new seasons of the following series:

Mr. Young (Season 3) Mr. Young follows Adam, who like any 14-year-old, spends his days in high school with his best friend and the girl of his dreams. However, unlike other kids his age, Adam goes by mister' Mr. Young, that is. A child prodigy, Adam landed himself a job as a high school science teacher instructing students his own age.

Sidekick (Season 3) Sidekick is an action-packed animated comedy about a superhero sidekick who having zero interest in fulfilling his sidekick duties goes from second fiddle to first string when his boss goes missing.

Scaredy Squirrel (Season 2) Based on the title character from the award winning books by Melanie Watt, Scaredy Squirrel is an animated comedy series that follows Scaredy, a lovable and creative hero with many idiosyncrasies and quirks, as he tackles life's daily challenges in a world where fun rules.

Detentionaire (Season 2) The series is the story of teenager Lee Ping, who is falsely accused of pulling the biggest, baddest prank in high school history, and receives a full year of detention as punishment. Determined to prove his innocence, Lee escapes detention every day and infiltrates different social cliques in an attempt to find the true culprit.
