Rethinking Broadcast Partnerships: Why the GV Alliance Matters

The days of building broadcast infrastructure around a single vendor are long gone. Broadcasters want flexibility, and they want tools that work together, without weeks of custom integration and guesswork.

That's the thinking behind the GV Alliance.

It's not a badge program. It's a network of companies we've chosen to work closely with because together, we solve real problems for real customers. From newsrooms and remote editors to sports OBs and live playout, the goal is the same: faster deployment, less friction, and a system that actually fits the way you work.

Here's a quick look at some of the partners in the Alliance that you'll see at IBC and how they connect with AMPP:

Pixitmedia by DataCore PixitMedia offer data workflow solutions and high-performance storage. They've integrated Ngenea into Framelight X to offer our customers additional features. These include those the ability to have remote editors working only 30 seconds behind live, important to enable efficency and lower carbon emissions when covering large multi location events. Where FLX customers have multiple sites and complicated storage, Ngenea also offers easy archiving and retrieval, and a single source truth.

Layercake Their Streamcake platform offers customers the ability to easily schedule, spin up & down cloud infrastructure, AMPP workflows and other cloud native Alliance partners like AI Media. Templated workflows make it simple and cost effective for users to adopt cloud based remote production for live events and sports.

Telos Alliance Telos were one of the first AMPP partners with their cloud-based Infinity VIP intercom. Now the industry standard flexAI audio processing platform is also migrating to the cloud. Next generation audio standards, loudness correction, upmix, downmix all done by the industry leading AI powered audio processor.

Mavis Broadcast Designed for the modern MoJo and content creator world. The Mavis app adds professional features like manual control, recording format choice, exposure and focus tools to the iPhone camera, ensuring the iPhone is as close as possible to a Pro camera. The Camera to Cloud functionality enables real time upload directly into Framelight X, speeding up news and content workflows.

Hitomi Broadcast How to manage sync and latency is one of the key concerns about the migration to cloud production. Hitomi's MatchBox Analyser allows you to monitor your whole chain, including via a native AMPP application, to help ensure your production remains in sync.

We've moved beyond best-of-breed. That model was often recreating the old world, just in software. This led to more complexity, more cost, and more finger-pointing. What we're building is closer to a best of family , where tools don't just tick boxes, but work together out of the box, and by building integrations we can create products stronger together than alone. Just like a family.
