MatrixStore Makes Media Readily Available for Films at 59

Cardiff, 13th April 2017 - Films at 59, Bristol-based post-production company, has implemented Digital Content Governance platform from Object Matrix, MatrixStore, to consolidate multiple media workflows onto one scalable platform. The installation was carried out by post production integrator, Digital Garage, which has considerable experience delivering progressive, creative, and innovative solutions to content creators, broadcasters and media producers.

As well has having 528 Terabytes of MatrixStore object storage, Films at 59 has implemented MatrixStore Vision, a browser-based content search and collaboration tool, to enable easy search, upload and download of data, and additional asset management functionality. This is all handled within a simple and easy-to-navigate browser window.

Using DropSpot from Object Matrix, Films at 59 is also able to tag objects with metadata on ingest. Content is automatically verified upon a simple drag and drop, without the need for expensive and time-consuming third-party applications.

It's important that we continue make our clients' experience as creative and simple as possible. With people needing to review work-in-progress, it was key to have a system that could easily allow access, whilst ensuring stringent security and protection for other content, commented Jamie Lawrence, Workflow Consultant, Films at 59.
