Already Official Partner of the 2013 Cannes Film Festival, Ang nieux continues their mission of close alignment with film festivals by partnering with the 27th Cabourg Romantic Film Festival

The Cabourg Romantic Film Festival, which runs from June 12-16 this year, is one of the most widely attended events of the year for aspiring artists in the French cinema. Ang nieux's presence at the festival signals the company's intention to expand awareness of their zoom lenses, which are already recognized all around the world by directors of photography as well as directors, actors and actresses; the talents of today and of tomorrow.

As an official partner of the event, Ang nieux is awarding the winners of the Short Film and Long Feature categories with an opportunity to shoot their next projects with an Ang nieux zoom lens. Pierre Andurand, President and CEO of Ang nieux, will also serve on the jury for the Short Film award.

Mr. Andurand will present the Ang nieux prize to the winners of the Short Film and Long Feature categories at the Festival's closing ceremony on June 15. Each winner will have the use of an Ang nieux zoom lens for their next film project an Optimo 15-40, Optimo 28-76, Optimo 45-120, Optimo DP 16-42 or Optimo DP 30-80 for the short film winner, and an Optimo 24-290, Optimo 17-80, Optimo 19.5-94 or Optimo 28-340 for the long film winner. The opportunity to use Ang nieux lenses will enable the winning teams to experience the precision and imaging quality that have earned these lenses their reputation.
