BVE NORTH 2013 GETS READY TO OPEN ITS DOORS 12 Nov 2013

BVE North 2013, the essential broadcast and production technology event in the North of England, is ready and raring to open its doors once again, with pre-registration figures promising a big crowd at Manchester Central during 12-13 November 2013.

James Rowley-Ashwood, Event Director, BVE North, said, We're delighted to report that our current pre-registration figures are in excess of our 2012 numbers, and are still increasing. Visitors to BVE North have a unique opportunity to learn from leading experts in the production, broadcast and technology spheres about key topics, both strategic and practical. We also have over 100 exhibitors on the show floor, offering visitors the chance to get immersed in the very latest technology, some of which is making its European debut.

Exhibitors include:

JVC (Stand A1), which will be demonstrating the live streaming feature offered by the latest version of the GY-HM650 camcorder. Ideal for news, sport, production and web applications, the innovative live streaming feature of this camcorder enables footage to be streamed live at the same time as recording full HD to the SDHC/SDXC memory card. The company will also display its other camcorders, including the new GY-HM70 events camcorder, along with its range of professional monitors and studio equipment.

Presteigne Charter (Stand A30) will be showcasing Sony's PMW-F55 based live 4K system. The PMW-F55 fitted with Sony's newly released CA-4000 camera adaptor permits live capture of 4K, providing super 35mm 4K for live events such as sports, concerts and studio programming alongside the ability to utilise the F55's high frame rate capabilities and innovative HD cut-out operation.

Cooke Optics (Stand D28) will demonstrate its range of miniS4/i lenses that are increasingly being used to bring an organic look to digital content for high end television dramas such as Devious Maids and The Client List. The Oscar -winning company will also show its T1.4 5/i prime lenses.

Other exhibitors include Sennheiser, Timeline TV, AC Entertainment Technologies and Audio Technica. In addition ARRI will present a camera masterclass, while the Adobe Theatre will offer invaluable tips and tricks on a range of professional Adobe products and services including Adobe Creative Cloud.
