cinemizer visualization: cinemizer OLED: A walk rough the virtual baroom

Whether planning a new bathroom or a whole new home - the communication of ideas and plans to the customer is a major challenge for architects and interior designers. Visualization specialists ImmerSight and the optical and opto-electronics manufacturer ZEISS, immerse the customer in virtual models giving them an authentic feeling of being there.

ImmerSight has integrated the ZEISS cinemizer OLED 3D multimedia glasses into a specially designed headpiece made of lightweight carbon. The headpiece surrounds the head of the observer, but is comfortable to wear. A camera watches the headpiece and recognizes from the white balls attached to the exterior, which give its exact position and direction of view. This is similar to the way motion-capture is achieved for movie production. The user can look around in the virtual environment with complete freedom of movement, they can run, jump or crouch - all movements are converted 1:1. If the space for physical movement is limited, a separate controller can extend the range of movement within the model.

Product Manager Franz Troppenhagen explains: "When it comes to specific customer requirements, a convincing 3D visualization is difficult to accomplish. With the ImmerSight solution, communication of the design is significantly improved - the customer is in the truest sense of the word, virtually there."

During the virtual tour surfaces, colour, lighting and other items can be changed at the touch of a button. This gives customers a real sense of how things will look and a unique way to compare different options. The first applications of the system are already in use in Germany, offering customers a way to plan their bathroom designs in a virtual showroom.

There are almost limitless possibilities for the system , said ImmerSight founder Fabian Weiss, "Whether in architectural firms, as a mobile replacement for showrooms or in the construction of product prototypes - our solution provides a better presentation of the planning, anywhere anytime."
