CNN and Indovision Launch CNN Television Journalist 0 Award -

A collaboration between CNN and Indovision, the Award seeks to encourage, promote and recognize excellence in Indonesian television journalism and reinforce the role journalists have played in Indonesia's development.

CNN is delighted to again partner with Indovision to launch this award which celebrates the very best in Indonesian journalism, Vice President and Managing Editor for CNN International Asia Pacific Ellana Lee said. After a successful inaugural year in 2012 they have grown in prestige and we look forward to receiving new entries from across the country.

Vice President Director of PT.MNC Sky Vision, Handhi S.Kentjono said it's an extraordinary opportunity for local journalists. The award aims to enhance the status of qualified journalists in Indonesia and gives them a unique opportunity to work internationally with the world news leader, CNN. We are committed to advancing journalism in Indonesia and are confident journalists will take on this challenge.

Environment Award

Indovision Education, Culture and Arts Award

From these category winners, an independent judging panel will choose the overall winner for The CNN Television Journalist Award 2013. This winner will receive a unique all-expenses paid opportunity to spend three weeks training alongside journalists from around the world at CNN's global headquarters in Atlanta, USA, as part of the CNN Journalism Fellowship Program.

Last year's winner Diana Dwika from Trans 7 said the Fellowship was invaluable. Winning the CNN Television Journalist Award was the best platform for my career. Attending the CNN Journalism Fellowship was a fantastic experience and I was grateful to have the opportunity to meet with a group of great journalists and learn from the best at CNN. Winning the Award is a dream come true for any Indonesian journalist.
