BACKWINTER HEATS UP WITH MTVS SIESTA KEY RETURNING FOR SEASON TWO ON JANUARY 22nd AT 9PM(New York, NY December 17, 2018) Get ready to sizzle this winter with the return of MTV's highly-anticipated smash series, Siesta Key. Back in Siesta Key, FL, the original cast picks up right where they left off, confronting issues of love, heartbreak and volatile friendships. The second season also brings some new arrivals who quickly add fuel to the fire.

Season two will premiere back-to-back episodes beginning at 9:00 PM ET/PT on Tuesday, January 22nd, following an all-new episode of MTV's new series Lindsay Lohan Beach Club. MTV is the fastest growing network in cable with five consecutive quarter of primetime growth its best streak in seven years.

About Season Two:

Alex and Juliette s perfect relationship turns rocky when Alex's ex-girlfriend, Cara, returns to the scene.

Brandon is collaborating with a new artist, putting his own relationship with his new girlfriend on the line.

Madisson is struggling with her on and off relationship with Ben, and has an old ex, Jared, come back to town.

Garrett is still getting over Kelsey, but may catch feelings for a new beauty in Siesta Key.

Kelsey is in a committed long-distance relationship, but with wandering eyes, she may be single again very soon.

Chloe pairs up with long-time friend Cara to stir up drama, and has a dark secret revealed.

Canvas is working on reconnecting with her estranged mother, and unexpectedly catches feelings for a friend.
