Kiloview officially announced the launch of the U4 IP Video Dock, a compact IP video decoder and output dock designed to bring professional IP video into UC meeting, display, and monitoring environments.

As IP video becomes increasingly common across production and enterprise environments, meeting and display systems remain largely disconnected from IP-based workflows. U4 is designed to close that gap, making professional IP video easier to integrate into existing communication and AV systems.

Leveraging years of expertise in AV-over-IP technologies, U4 reflects Kiloview's continued focus on extending the practical use of professional IP video and making AV-over-IP workflows more accessible across a broader range of real-world applications.

Bringing IP Video into Your Existing UC and AV Workflows Kiloview U4 enables professional IP video sources to be used within existing UC and AV setups. It converts network-based video streams into USB, HDMI, and DisplayPort outputs, allowing seamless integration into established meeting and display systems.

It delivers USB UVC/UAC output for plug-and-play use with platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, and OBS, while HDMI and DisplayPort outputs support up to 4K60 for room display, presentation, and monitoring scenarios, enabling simultaneous output from a single IP video source. This allows IP video to be used directly across UC and display environments without requiring additional software or system changes.

As a long-standing contributor to NDI-based workflows, Kiloview has built strong capabilities in IP video transport and interoperability. Engineered as a hardware-based decoding solution, U4 also supports major IP video protocols, including NDI High Bandwidth, NDI HX, SRT, RTMP, RTSP, UDP, RTP, and HLS, ensuring compatibility across a wide range of workflows.

Removing the need for additional software tools, virtual camera drivers, or complex configuration steps, U4 enables IP video sources to be used directly across UC meeting and display workflows.
