New Senior Pre-Sales Engineer at Aveco Russia

June 1st 2018 Aveco , the worldwide broadcast automation specialist, and a 2018 Best of Show NAB Award winner, today announced that Vladimir Balakhontsev has joined the company's growing team, as the Senior Pre-Sales Engineer.

Vladimir Balakhontsev is an experienced senior engineer. He has been working in the broadcasting industry since 2004. He started working with Russian system integrators. After that, he worked in the professional division of Apple IMC Russia, which gave him experience with Apple solutions. Since 2008, he has worked for Omneon/Harmonic, taking part in the broadcasting projects in Russia, CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) and Baltic countries.

Vladimir will be based in Moscow and he will take care of the CIS region, helping Lucie Broucke Ou kov with the pre-sales and business development mainly in Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, Kazakhstan and many other countries.

The first time I met Pavel about ten years ago in Kiev was when we held a joint presentation for the Ukrainian TV channel. Since then, there were many meetings with Aveco representatives at exhibitions, our joint presentations, seminars or project discussions in different countries, and for me the most important experience was that Aveco is a relatively small but very professional and efficient team. And besides, they all were very nice people, said Vladimir Balakhontsev.

Vladimir Balakhontsev graduated from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology at the Faculty of Radio Engineering and Cybernetics. He speaks Russian and English. Vladimir likes to spend time in the mountains hiking, climbing or just enjoying the beautiful scenery. He also likes other sports, such as badminton.
