Espial Hosts Future of Smart TV Seminar in Tokyo 31 Jul 2013
Espial, a leader in on-demand TV software and solutions, today announced that the company is hosting an invitation-only technology seminar titled The TV UX: Reimagined. Perspectives on the Future of Smart TV. The event, which takes place today in Tokyo, explores how new and emerging standards and technologies based on HTML5 such as HbbTV and Hybridcast provide a foundation to reimagine the Smart TV user experience.
During the seminar, Espial will host several presentations and a panel discussion led by distinguished industry technology experts. Attendees will receive a detailed overview of the most significant factors to consider when implementing a Smart TV user-experience strategy. Most importantly, the seminar will highlight the newest developments in regional and global Web standards.

To achieve this, the user experience must blend and simplify discovery across Web video, broadcast video, on-demand programming combined with social media and premium Web content, said Yukio Kanemori, country director for Japan, Espial.
