A new-look leadership structure includes newly created head of machine learning and chief operating officer roles

Pablo Callejo Motion capture specialist Vicon has announced a series of senior appointments in newly created roles that the company says will accelerate growth and expansion.

Pablo Callejo, formerly strategic business development director for the business, has been promoted into the newly-created role of chief operating officer while Chris Hoskin has been named Vicon's first chief marketing officer. Hoskin was formerly regional director of marketing, EMEA for Narvar.

Elsewhere, Timothy Smith has been named head of machine learning, joining from Twitter; Stephen Sandford arrives from Clear-Com as head of product; and John Adamson has been named software delivery director, joining the business from Formula One outfit, Alpine.
