ENDEMOL GAME SHOW DEALS SIGNED ACROSS CENTRAL AND EASTERN EUROPE Endemol's latest game show formats Next One and Unbeatable head to Central and Eastern Europe for the first time New deals for global blockbusters The Money Drop and Deal or No Deal across the region Next One and Unbeatable were launched at this year's MIPTV and will be among Endemol's newest format highlights at MIPCOM 2013 Endemol, the world's largest independent production company, today announced that it has signed a line-up of game show deals in Central and Eastern Europe ahead of MIPCOM 2013.
Ukrainian broadcaster Novy Channel has picked up a prime time series of Unbeatable - a new game show where contestants with distinctive skills have to face their toughest opponents. The 13 episode series marks the format's first commission in the region and will launch autumn 2014.
Also sold for the first time in Central and Eastern Europe is Next One, the-edge-of-your-seat game show where players queue up on stage and take part in a high-speed game of knowledge. Next One has been commissioned for 85 episodes in Hungary on MTVA and a 15 episode deal has been signed with TV7 in Bulgaria.
Global blockbusters The Money Drop and Deal or No Deal continue to be popular in the region. The Money Drop has been sold for a second series to Slovenia, where 14 episodes will launch on Planet TV. The high jeopardy game show has been renewed for a second run in Georgia on Imedi. The Money Drop has now sold to more than 50 territories across Europe, The Middle East, CIS territories, Asia and the South Pacific.
Meanwhile, Deal or No Deal returns to Turkey, following a new commission with Show TV, with 26 live episodes airing twice a week in a prime-time slot. Deal or No Deal has also been renewed in Macedonia for a third season of 200 episodes on Sitel and in Estonia for a sixth series of 10 episodes on TV3.
