The Queen actress Connie Ferguson has been gifted by streaming platform Netflix SA with a portrait of her late husband Shona Ferguson.

Shona passed away on 30 July 2021 after he battled COVID-19 related symptoms he was being treated for at Netcare Milpark Hospital.

TRIBUTE PAINTING FOR FERGUSON FAMILY Connie took to her Instagram account to express her gratitude to the streaming platform for the kind gesture.

She said, Netflix SA, I really have no words! Thank you for honouring #kingSHO in such a special, meaningful way. The tribute painting really captures his essence and his presence was strong at the #netflixsummer celebration!

A number of celebrities and fans of the mother of two showed their love to the avctress and thanked the artist for the great work of art.

Back story Shona the Rock of 14th Ave Virgin Active used to train there with the guys years ago. Happiest larger than life person Epic smile always glowing. One day he asked about what I do and I share some pics, he shared.

Next thing No John one day you will have to do my portrait and with that I will filled with joy . then sadly he passed away. BUT GOD heard !!! And years later that dream came through. Bless you up there champ, you left a legacy on note respect to you, he said.
