Since 1979, ESPN has entertained and informed sports fans around the nation with more than 60,000 episodes of SportsCenter. Talent have come and gone, but this flagship show has withstood the test of time. Seen as the origin of all other sports shows, the four-letter network added another feather to its cap with the 2023 Sports Emmy for Outstanding Studio Show Daily.

At the ceremony, ESPN's Senior Vice President, Production and Content Strategy, Maria Soares, breaks down how the network is able to adapt and mold this legacy show to the current era of sports and the operations team that helps make every production go as smoothly as possible.
