Maruja Callaved, pioneer in news and television in Spain programs, died yesterday in Madrid. He was born in Jaca (Huesca) and studied philosophy and teaching. Later he obtained the title of journalist. He developed almost his entire professional career at Spanish Television where was linked to news and programs from Paseo de la Habana. There was announcer of continuity in space The Saturday Club and then in the program Walter and the eighth family.
He worked with historical professionals of television as Jos Luis Colina, Blanca Alvarez or Jes s lvarez, who saw their teachers. It came in news on Overview of current with Tico Medina and later was host of the Television news. She reached popularity with the program We are going to table (1967), the first television format of cuisine in Spain. Later on came programs such as The TV goes through neighborhoods with Alfredo Amestoy or Standard of living.
