Canary Islands reactivates the audiovisual sector through remote filming Gracias a esta f rmula de rodaje y producci n ya no es necesaria la presencia f sica del director o jefes de equipo internacionales para la ejecuci n del rodaje.
El sector audiovisual canario est reaccionando a las restricciones de movilidad de la actual crisis sanitaria provocada por el COVID-19 con el desarrollo del primer rodaje remoto de Espa a, una iniciativa pionera que permitir grabar sin necesidad de presencia f sica por parte del equipo, impulsada por el Cl ster Audiovisual de Canarias (CLAC) y liderada por las productoras Macaronesia Films (Canarias), Kiss&Ride (Madrid) y Creast (Londres), con el apoyo de la Consejer a de Econom a, Conocimiento y Empleo del Gobierno de Canarias a trav s de la empresa p blica Sociedad Canaria de Fomento Econ mico (Proexca).
La consejera de Econom a, Conocimiento y Empleo, Elena M ez, ha destacado la originalidad del proyecto Canarias streaming film destination, una apuesta creativa que une innovaci n, internacionalizaci n y colaboraci n p blico-privada para hacer frente a las restricciones impuestas por la crisis de la COVID-19 , tres elementos clave del Pacto para la Reactivaci n Social y Econ mica de Canarias. El respaldo de Proexca al proyecto del Cl ster evidencia la firme apuesta del Gobierno de Canarias por la innovaci n tecnol gica y la diversificaci n productiva como procesos fundamentales en el marco de la reactivaci n econ mica , ha se alado.
El formato streaming es una nueva f rmula de rodaje y producci n en la que ya no es necesaria la presencia f sica del director o jefes de equipo internacionales para la ejecuci n del rodaje. De esta manera la agencia creativa, los clientes o parte del equipo t cnico pueden estar en sus regiones o pa ses de origen, al tiempo que desarrollan un rodaje utilizando interiores y exteriores de Canarias, con equipo local, y cumpliendo con todos los protocolos sanitarios de prevenci n de riesgos detallados en la Orden ministerial del 9 de mayo de 2020.
Promoci n internacional Esta iniciativa contar con una campa a de publicidad espec fica para la captaci n de proyectos a nivel nacional e internacional, donde se promocionan las Islas como el lugar id neo para el desarrollo de rodajes en streaming. La grabaci n de una de las principales piezas de la campa a, el spot publicitario, estar dirigida desde Londres por el prestigioso director Eduardo Vieitez (responsable de las campa as de Samsung, Sony, McDonald's o Loter as de Espa a) y el director de fotograf a Charlie Herranz (responsable de la iluminaci n de anuncios para FIFA, Land Rover y HP) quienes, desde sus oficinas en la capital brit nica, dirigir n el primer rodaje internacional de publicidad v a streaming en Canarias.
A nivel local, Macaronesia Films coordinar la producci n del proyecto, al que se han incorporado otras empresas asociadas al Cl ster Audiovisual de Canarias como RiverFlow Pictures, Hormigas Negras, Magnetic Films, Welab Canarias o MTS Services, adem s de otras empresas de servicios como MFC Lighting, Sonimac, Canary Grip Serives, MQM Canarias, Aerofilm Canarias y profesionales isle as como Luna Bengoechea.
Este proyecto, apoyado por Proexca, posicionar a Canarias como destino internacional favoreciendo la implementaci n de nuevos modelos de rodaje en el archipi lago. Numerosas empresas locales est n adaptando sus modelos de producci n a trav s de sistemas streaming, abriendo as el camino a nuevas f rmulas de rodaje y generando oportunidades para el sector audiovisual del archipi lago.
El sector audiovisual es un sector consolidado en Canarias que en 2019 disfrut de una inversi n directa de 47,5 millones de euros, m s de 1.700 d as de rodaje en las Islas y m s de 2.500 contrataciones directas sin contar proveedores y figurantes -, por lo que la apertura a nuevos escenarios facilitar el acceso a nuevos mercados.
