The producer and founding partner of Guess Productions, Jorge Algora, has unanimously elected new president of the Galician Audiovisual Cluster (bell) During the Extraordinary General Meeting held Tuesday in Santiago de Compostela. In the same act the Assembly also ratified the component Members of the new Board and will accompany him for the next three years in office.
El director Jorge Algora se sit a al frente de este organismo intermedio y toma el relevo del productor Andr s Barb , quien dirigi la entidad desde diciembre de 2010. Durante dos mandatos, el presidente saliente del Clag y su equipo realizaron una labor que el propio Algora valor como muy positiva tanto para el cl ster como para los intereses de sus asociados. En estos ltimos a os se consolidaron actuaciones estrat gicas en el mbito de la internacionalizaci n, innovaci n y dinamizaci n del sector audiovisual gallego y se afianz la marca del Cl ster Audiovisual Galego.
Meanwhile, Barb thanked the other partners in the cluster for their support during his time as president, while offered his help and cooperation to the new management team.
In his first speech as president of CLAG, Jorge Algora appreciated the confidence placed in him by the other partners to continue the partnership project, and announced the main lines of action Clag for this new stage, which has to keep star Clag projects, such as pitching I+P, Ideas to produce, Or run the remaining lines of the strategic plan, which will run until 2018, including strengthening the work of cooperation between companies.
Among the new proposals it is to advance the dialogue with associations and other industry players to find channels of cooperation and specific actions that contribute to structuring the sector as an industry 4.0.
The new directive aims to promote tractors projects in the field of production, such as innovation or R & D, to achieve the specialization of companies, acting as an accelerator of projects pursuing the interest of a minimum of three companies.
It also proposes creating a network of companies in other sectors "friends of the Galician audiovisual" and that can support promotional activities or project financing as well as join strategies with companies that can provide services to productions outside the community and in future may be the basis of a Galician film commission.
They are also among the objectives of the new management team CLAG support existing actions, and promote campaigns on the importance of having a proper audiovisual sector; work with universities and schools audiovisual training to design a plan that integrates new professionals, and increase representation based cluster, all by serving and serving as a bonding tool.

Rounding out the new Board of four members: Ram n Basanta (CESG), Aquilino Abeal (AEROMED), Manuel Sanmartin (Areca Films) and Margaret Soil (ICT Foundation Lugo).
