Hubert Napierala wins the Sony FS7 II documentaries The Spanish Juan Carlos Fita Planells, finalist for his documentary Red Gold, which portrayed the history of the cultivation of Saffron.

Hubert Napierala is the winner of the contest of documentaries FS7 II promoted by Sony for his work MIA the biker dog. Filmmaker Philip Bloom chose Hubert for his documentary of 60 seconds on Michal and his dog Mia, who accompanies him on a scenic trip on a motorcycle by Poland. Winner has been the new camera PXW-FS7M2K.

Participants were asked to the they to rise a minute documentary clip on YouTube showing his narrative skills. The videos that received more likes on YouTube between 1 and 12 March pre-selected until the renowned filmmaker Philip Bloom to pick a winner. Entries were judged according to the ability to convey a memorable story in just 60 seconds. The theme of the documentary has been incredibly varied, from a close-up of a man swimming with whales underwater, passing by an explosive demonstration of a piece of bread baking up to an interview with an expert of the yo-yo.

Hubert Napierala, a student from Poland, told a story about happiness and friendship in his documentary of a minute, while continued Michal and his dog Mia in one of their biker adventure through forests and Polish peoples. To the footage used a color and contrast noteworthy that joined the warm and encouraging story of two friends.

"Although there have been many great entries to choose from, I chose Red Gold "as second runner-up, since a very interesting and illustrative story, he explained, in a very short time, what made me want to know more".

"Create a documentary clip of 60 seconds without a budget has been a challenge, but I enjoyed the experience. My family and many people there helped me with the filming, and I do not think that I would have been able to tell a story so hard without them", explained Hubert Napierala, winner of the contest.
