Daniel Franck to lead media and production operations at Lagard re Unlimited Europe and Africa Lagard re Unlimited announced today that Daniel Franck will lead the Lagard re Unlimited media and production operations across Europe and Africa with immediate effect. Daniel will remain CEO of Lagard re Unlimited-owned agency IEC in Sports and, under his new appointment, will take responsibility for the media and production activity across the Europe and Africa platform. He will continue to report to Alain Lemarchand, Head of Lagard re Unlimited Europe and Africa.
Daniel is a seasoned industry expert, having spent the last 18 years working in the sports business. An economics and political sciences graduate from Uppsala University in Sweden, he worked initially as a sports journalist for a selection of Swedish TV channels. In 1998, he joined IEC in Sports as Head of New Media and has remained at the agency ever since. Over the years, he has undertaken multiple roles and led various departments in a number of locations, including Director of Production and COO, before being appointed CEO in 2011.
Commenting on the appointment, Alain Lemarchand said: I am delighted to place our media and production business in the very capable hands of Daniel. He is a committed member of the Lagard re Unlimited Management team and this appointment is a reflection of the trust the group has in him. I am confident that he will step up to his new challenge to further develop our media and production business in Europe and Africa and wish Daniel every success with his new responsibilities.
Lagard re Unlimited Europe and Africa includes IEC in Sports, SPORTFIVE International, SPORTFIVE Germany, SPORTFIVE France, SPORTFIVE Africa, Lagard re Unlimited Events, Lagard re Unlimited Stadium Solutions and Lagard re Unlimited Scandinavia.
