Cap Gun Collective Director Alex Fendrich Teams with Two by Four and Off the Street Club to Win International Davey Best in Show Award

The International Academy of Visual Arts recently announced the winners of the 2013 International Davey Awards, which honor the finest work from the best small firms, agencies and companies worldwide. Award-winning commercial production company Cap Gun Collective is very proud to announce that director Alex Fendrichs collaboration with agency Two by Four was named Best in Show in the competitions Film/Video/TV category, out of nearly 4,000 entries.

The video entitled Hope runs 3:10 ( http://youtu.be/ifMjOLEWAak ), and it was produced for Off The Street Club (OTSC), Chicagos oldest boys and girls club, specifically to screen during its annual fundraising luncheon. According to the agency, that luncheon became the clubs most successful fundraiser in its 112-year history.

Thanks to the Two by Four creative team, we had a poignant script and story to tell, Fendrich said. When we met the kids and learned more about the history of the OTSC, everything came into a nice focus. Knowing that the video helped with fundraising was already a great reward, so this Davey Award win is a fantastic bonus for everyone involved.

Several thousand grateful inner-city boys and girls join with me and the entire Off The Street Club family in celebrating with Alex Frendrich, Cap Gun Collective and Two by Four, said Ralph Campagna, long-time OTSC executive director. The superb Hope video deeply touched the hearts of every attendee at our biggest fundraiser ever, while also inspiring and uplifting the very needy but very wonderful children here on Chicagos troubled west side.

Two by Fours project team consisted of VP Jen Nicks, creative directors David Stevenson and Adam VonOhlen, copywriter Matt Kappmeyer, art director Mike Vithoulkas and account supervisor Brad Cerwin, all of whom worked very closely with producer Cassie Abraham. For Cap Gun Collective, credit also goes to executive producer Matt Abramson, producer PJ Fishwick, director of photography Gregger Jones, production manager Patrick Goeke and line producer Claire Connelly.
