Combining Ideas to Solutions: At E-world 2019, IT Will Become More Versatile Than Ever Before
IT Specialist Presents New Cloud-based Platform Applications

At E-world, Arvato Systems is focusing entirely on the future of IT for energy management: At the Arvato trade fair booth (booth number 117) in hall 1, the IT specialists from the Bertelsmann Group will present a cloud-based platform solution that can map all energy management processes in a modular way.
Hartmut Fries, CEO of Arvato Systems: The current situation in the industry is characterized by rapid growth, an increasing number of market players, big data, and the requirements of IoT and AI. The energy industry is looking for highly flexible solutions. That's why our IT solutions provide the versatility that the current market situation demands. With our cloud platform, companies only use the exact modules and applications they need.
To that end, the trade fair team will present a range of different industry-specific IT applications for areas such as system monitoring, environmental reporting, smart energy services, and analytics solutions. Niels Pothmann, data scientist at Arvato Systems, will also be giving a talk on that last subject at the conference that will take place alongside the trade fair. His lecture, Advanced Analytics with Artificial Intelligence,' is part of the Trading & Finance Forum on the third day of the trade fair and starts at 12:00 p.m.
Energy suppliers have also made flexibility a priority in their future SAP strategies. The IT specialists at the Microsoft booth (hall 3, booth 3-336) will present a solution for the challenges associated with this strategy, particularly regarding IS-U: Migration and operation of SAP in the Azure cloud. A lift & shift' into the Azure cloud takes just a few days and allows for a scalable strategy with flexible contractual periods.
