On January 25, 2014, KDDI and Okinawa Cellular will begin updating the au +1 collection of official au accessories. The new accessories, which will be released in stages, include items designed specifically for use with new models in the Spring lineup, as well as other convenient items that can be used with any smartphone model.

In addition to standard items such as stylish covers and cases for the latest au smartphones and tablets, as well as protective film for screens, the expanded collection will include a variety of unique, functional items such as a case designed specifically for the G Flex, which features a large curved display, and a book-type case with built-in charging function, designed specifically for the Xperia (TM) Z Ultra with its world-thinnest 6.5-mm thickness.

The collection will also be gradually expanded with new items that further increase the convenience and enjoyment of smartphones, such as Sonys drip-proof Smart Bluetooth Handset SBH52, which can easily be paired with a device using NFC, as well as a digital pen that lets users make voice recordings while writing memos in a dedicated notebook.
