Two events in Manila (6. Nov.) and Bangkok (9. Nov.) show the latest Broadcast technologies

In November 2017 Broadcast Solutions GmbH, together with industry partners Riedel and IHSE, will show the latest technology innovations during their Broadcast Innovation Days events in Asia. As the latest in a row of successful events the German system integrator and partners will host two events, one in Manila (6 November) and one in Bangkok (9 November). Together with industry partners Riedel and IHSE, Broadcast Solutions GmbH will be hosting two events in the course of their Broadcast Innovation Days series in Asia, to show the latest innovations in broadcast technology and share their knowledge on workflow optimization. With combining hands-on demonstrations and presentations the partners will pass on their knowhow and expertise to the visitors. The first day of the events will be used for lectures and demonstrations. All partners will be available on a second subsequent day for private meetings and in-depth demonstrations

Topics to be discussed (among others) will be how to streamline broadcast workflows, future-proof solutions for broadcasters as well as discussing the needs and solutions for local broadcast companies to meet the changing production demands. Being the largest OB Van manufacturer in the industry Broadcast Solutions explains the concept behind the very successful serial produced line of Streamline OB Vans, which show how the company combines cost efficient solutions with a pragmatic approach to IP, 4K and UHD. Further on display will be Broadcast Ultrasoft, a unifying Broadcast Workflow tool. A further priority topic is the Wireless (R)evolution with presentations on the evolution from traditional analogue point to point microwave systems to the latest revolutionary IP-based Mesh networks. Visitors will learn how this technology revolutionizes the industry while there is still room for traditional technologies.

With its MicroN system Riedel will present tools for modular production. With its de-centralized routing capabilities, MicroN has the power and flexibility to build such systems. The newest member of Riedel's MediorNet family, MicroN features easy-to-use configuration options that provide increased reliability and versatility. On-board signal-processing includes frame synchronization, embedding/de-embedding, and delay. With scalable routing solutions and the ability to handle even 4K production workflows, MicroN-based systems are future-proof as markets migrate towards fully IP-based production environments.

With its solutions for switch and preview in Multiviewers IHSE will focus on monitoring and control of remote video sources over its Draco tera KVM matrix switches. Tera Viewer is an intuitive user interface ideally suited for professional KVM management at the workstation. KVM matrix switches are increasingly used in broadcast organisations to provide users with access to the vast array of broadcast devices from their own workstations. Tera Viewer software provides an IP-based preview of video signals passing through Draco tera KVM matrix systems. With Tera Viewer, users can conveniently check and monitor images as often as required in control-and-monitoring applications.
