Audiences for RT s Prime Time Leaders Debate Over 1.1 million people tuned into the RT Prime Time Leaders Debate (1,109,000*) on Tuesday night moderated by Miriam O Callaghan, with an average of 622,000** viewers watching the full hour and a half debate on RT One. This equated to close to half the people watching television in the Republic of Ireland at the time (47% audience share***). In addition, 20,000 viewers on average watched the full programme on RT One +1.
People from 66 countries worldwide logged on to the RT Player International to watch the programme, which generated over 21,000 live streams. The debate is currently the most popular programme on the RT Player.
RT s live reaction programme, The Spin Room presented by David McCullagh also proved a strong draw with audiences, with an average of 315,000 viewers watching the full programme and audience share of 41% up until midnight on RT One.
