ProMAX Announces Platform Series Shared Storage Solution for NewTek Products

ProMAX is joining the NewTek Developer Network by providing ProMAX Platform series shared storage solutions, a first for NewTek's TriCaster and 3Play multi-camera production and instant replay systems. ProMAX's Platform integration meets the demanding performance criteria needed to support the variations of branded program output, multi-channel delivery with simultaneous streaming, and live social media publishing that NewTek's advanced media production content publishing systems provide.

ProMAX Platform storage systems outperformed expectations, and fit the TriCaster and 3Play workflow by providing robust and easy to use shared storage at a cost effective price, said Michael Kornet, executive vice president of Business Development for NewTek. This is valuable new functionality, as the lines between pre-, live- and post-production continue to blur with our customers.

The combination of NewTek TriCaster and 3Play devices with a Shared Storage system like ProMAX Platform allows for virtually unlimited content recording time for NewTek customers. In addition, the ability to record many streams simultaneously to the Platform Server at the same time playing content from that server, open up media sharing and collaboration features that were previously not possible.
