ViVIM tells the story of TV3 through an immersive 360o experience

ACTION Finances ViVIM, a Catalan initiative in the participation of CCMA that offers an immersive 360 experience to discover the trajectory of TV3. ViVIM (Visi per Computer per Video Immersiu Cross-Platform) proposes a new audiovisual format based on immersive formats that bets on consumption on both virtual reality devices, tablets or traditional TV. The project focuses on the production of immersive video. It also seeks to enable interactive and social experiences between remote users within virtual environments.

The project is funded by ACTION, the Agancia per a la Competitivitat de lEmpresa, within the action plan of the Ris3CAT Media Community promoted by the Govern of the Generalitat de Catalunya. Its consortium consists of i2Cat (coordinating the project), the Centre de Visi per Computer (CVC) of the Uab, the Catalan Corporaci de Mitjans Audiovisuals (CCMA), Vysion and Eurecat.

The participation of TV3 it consists in the contribution of technical and artistic requirements, as well as the definition of the tools that will enhance the creation, distribution and consumption of immersive and interactive audiovisual content. TV3 also collaborates in the coordination, development and execution of project pilots, open to public consumption, who help analyze and measure results with the aim of maximizing the impact on the audiovisual sector.

A journey in time This virtual elevator, accessible via web, travels vertically and immersively at high speed and stops at different floors that represent a year of TV3 history. Instead of doors, there are TVs where you can enjoy important programs and moments from the networks past. Television devices are designed to respond to the model used at each time. With regard to navigation, this is done through a controller available on the screen for easy use.

The experience allows to revive the same start-up of the chain, in 1983, in the first broadcast of a Barca match, as well as events that marked the current one every year in all areas; masks, separators and continuity elements, including the famous TV3 grinders; or flagship programs such as Digui, digui, Filiprim, Three senyores i un senyor, current or Veterinaris...

Laltra face, latest addition digital first From The 33rd Laltra face, program presented by Roger Carandell, arrives at TV3alacarta and on YouTube, and then aired on Thursdays at 22.45 a.m. The 33rd. This interview space addresses social issues related to young people and their future, but also has among their goals reaching adult generations, so that they understand the concerns of todays youth.

In each episode, a successful content creator on the networks will accompany Carandell in a close and complicity-filled conversation, in which he will explain his experience and give his own vision on the subject. All from an open, critical and innovative perspective.

Laltra face, a production of TV3 with the collaboration of YouPlanet, was one of the proposals selected in the second public call for innovative audiovisual projects for the programming of the 33 that the CCMA opened a year ago.
