Golden Villages GVmax Unveils Largest Cinematic Sound System in Asia, Featuring Dolby Atmos

Groundbreaking sound provides stunning audio immersion Singapore, November 6, 2012-Dolby Laboratories, Inc. (NYSE: DLB) announced today that Golden Village Multiplex Pte Ltd is launching Dolbys latest cinema sound format, Dolby Atmos™, at its largest cinema hall, GVmax.

Located at the flagship GV VivoCity cinema, Golden Villages GVmax features radial stadium seating for up to 602 viewers. GVmax also has the widest cinema screen in Asia, 22.4 meters, with crystal-clear 4K digital projection. With the installation of Dolby Atmos, GVmax becomes the first Southeast Asian cinema to introduce the revolutionary audio system, designed to create a more realistic movie experience for viewers.

Directed by Jack Neo, the production is the first Asian film to be mixed in Dolby Atmos. The film opens on November 6 at GVmax.
