On February 1, Thabiso Mokhethi shared a flashback photo of him with actress Kagiso Rakosa, who portrayed Sharon in the SABC1 soap opera, to relive the golden days of his Generations days.

In 2005, Thabiso Mokhethi made his television debut when he was cast as Samuel Khumalo, the famed Ntombi's brother (played by Sonia Mbele) on Generations before it became Generations: The Legacy.

Thabiso Mokhethi's acting career was propelled to even greater heights by the part.

The Kagiso Rakosa-played characters Samuel and Sharon went through ups and downs before falling in love and putting on one of the most beautiful traditional weddings ever seen on television. The couple won over many hearts with their relationship and was perhaps one of Mzansi's favourite on-screen couples.

Viewers melted, swooned, and felt all the feelings while watching their relationship. Their continued presence on Mzansi shows that their bond was contagious and would always be remembered.

They were, in Thabiso's opinion, the all-time favourite on-screen pair on Generations.

He wrote on Twitter saying,

Mara truth be told guys girl and I really made magic playing these characters I loved playing Samuel Khumalo on Generations Kagiso as Sharon was one of the best on-screen lovers, I've had the pleasure to play alongside. It was lit every day on set.

Twitter users praised the performers in the comments section for portraying their enchanting love tale so well.

Others wondered if there was any chemistry between the two off-camera, but Thabiso laughed them off.

Many fans have been curious about Kagiso's whereabouts ever since she departed from Generations the soap opera. Thabiso replied to a fan by saying, She's around. Privately, the lady is doing well.

According to TshisaLIVE, the actress has officially joined the programme, playing Buhle. Her first appearance is scheduled for June 13, 2023, according to Generations: The Legacy.
