After fifteen years working as a Steadicam operator in Spain, Josu Txurruka decided to start his own company and founded Daramakam. Based in the picturesque Basque region of Usurbil on Spain's North East coast, Daramakam has offered Steadicam and Jimmy Jib rental services to Spanish content producers since 2007. Following consultation with his customer base, however, Txurruka decided to add the Furio camera robotic system to his rental portfolio.

My customers all want options, Txurruka notes. As an experienced ex-cameraman, I know my customers are looking for the ability to be more creative and to give audiences dynamic camera moves that add visual flair to their programs. Daramakam's Furio system was purchased from Datos Media in Spain, and the whole process was incredibly smooth. Both Datos and Ross are serious and professional companies and they've been extremely helpful in answering my questions and providing me with the support I need. This investment is really going to change my position in the Spanish market and gives me a big advantage.
