The Mediapro Studio and JWP sign a collaboration agreement for three years Justin Webster, director of the specialized production company, JWP, has directed Six Dreams, documentary series produced by The Mediapro Studio that has just received two Emmy Awards.

JWP, production company specialized in documentaries, and The Mediapro Studio, the audiovisual giant based in Barcelona, have reached an agreement for the next three years. Collaboration with the British director Justin Webster and producer Sumpta Ayusomakers of JWP, will involve the development of a minimum of 6 projects.

Thus deepens the relationship between Webster and The Mediapro Studio after the joint work done in "Six Dreams", a documentary series that takes a look without precedent on the first division of Spanish football through the lives of six professionals inside and outside of the field of play.

Six Dreamsdirected by Webster, just received two Emmy Awards at the Daytime Emmy gala: best entertainment program in Spanish and best graphic design. Co-produced by The Mediapro Studio, JWP LaLiga for Amazon Prime Video, the documentary series has begun the development of the second installment.

Webster has directed documentaries profundo as Gabo, the creation of Gabriel Garc a M rquez, I will be killed, death in Leon, the end of ETA, connection Madrid and FC Barcelona confidential.

Javier Mendezdirector of global content of Mediapro, declares that "Justin and Sumpta cover a need in the content market. "We are living in a golden age of television fiction series, but Justin fills a niche in the growing demand for production of nonfiction narrative, with real stories told through the characters, as in fiction, but fiction".

Justin Webster believes that "the agreement opens up great possibilities for two reasons: on the one hand to facilitate the development of new projects - a luxury, because development is essential to creating something of quality-;" and on the other hand, both Mediapro and JWP have much international experience." The director added that "projects will have to be very ambitious e international, must definitely be narrative of non-fiction because that is what we do".

The agreement with Justin Webster is another alliances consummated by The Mediapro Studio recently to expand the creation, production and distribution of global content at national and international level. The British director joins talents such as Paolo Sorrentino, Woody Allen, Isabel Coixet, Ran Tellem, Oliver Stone, Daniel Burman, Fernando Le n de Aranoa, Iv n Escobar, Javier Fesser, Patricio Guzm n, Borja Cobeaga, Diego San Jos , Marc Cistar , Manuel Huerga, Ernesto Daranas, Gaston Duprat, Mariano Cohn, Laura Belloso, Marc Vigil, Fernando Gonzalez Molina, Javier Olivares and Ruth Garcia.
