Durante el mes de octubre el n mero de l neas de banda ancha aument en 106.838, cifra que supone el mejor registro mensual de contrataciones desde enero de 2010, seg n la nota mensual que acaba de publicar la CNMC. El parque de conexiones de banda ancha fija en Espa a super por primera vez los 12 millones de l neas (12.104.109), con un crecimiento interanual del 5,8%.
Del total de las nuevas contrataciones, un 32% (34.122), correspondieron a l neas de fibra ptica hasta el hogar (FTTH), que acumul 543.438 l neas, un 88,7% m s con respecto al a o anterior.
La captaci n de l neas de banda ancha estuvo liderada un mes m s por los operadores alternativos que acapararon un 74% de las nuevas l neas, 79.244, mientras que los operadores de cable a adieron 13.053 nuevas l neas y Telef nica, por su parte, sum 14.541 l neas.
Crecen de nuevo las l neas telef nicas fijas
El n mero de l neas fijas volvi a aumentar por segundo mes consecutivo ( 30.792), gracias a las ganancias en el segmento residencial ( 32.996) que compensaron los descensos en el segmento negocios (-2.204). Desde junio de 2008 no se produc an crecimientos tan notables en dos meses consecutivos.
El mes cerr con 18,92 millones de l neas fijas, una proporci n de 40,5 l neas por cada 100 habitantes. La portabilidad fija se apunt 165.498 intercambios, un 4,4% menos que hace un a o.

Por su parte, la telefon a m vil volvi a perder l neas en octubre, -102.213 l neas, a causa de los descensos en l neas prepago (-170.188) y en datacards (-64.029). En total, se contabilizaron, a finales de octubre, 52,03 millones de l neas m viles, un 3,1% menos que el mismo mes del a o anterior.
Los OMV fueron los operadores que lideraron la ganancia neta de l neas de forma muy clara con 210.328 l neas. Adem s, con esta cifra, los OMV superan por primera vez el 12% de cuota de mercado de l neas m viles (12,11%).
Por su parte, Movistar, Vodafone, Orange y Yoigo registraron p rdidas neta de l neas durante el periodo: Movistar, -164.404 l neas; Vodafone, -85.001 l neas; Orange, -29.657 y Yoigo, -33.479 l neas.
En lo que respecta a la portabilidad, Movistar present un saldo neto negativo, diferencia entre n meros ganados y perdidos, de 82.594 portabilidades, mientras que Vodafone registr una p rdida neta de 57.413 transacciones y Yoigo de 8.726. Los OMV ( 144.841) y Orange ( 3.892) fueron los operadores con saldo positivo en intercambios.
