The Atlanta Braves open their 2026 MLB season tonight against the Kansas City Royals, with DIRECTV carrying BravesVision for fans across the home territory of Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, South Carolina, Tennessee, and western North Carolina in time for the 7:15 p.m. EDT first pitch. Braves games will be available on DIRECTV streaming and satellite on channel 645, and on U-verse channel 1730 (HD).
The BravesVision launch follows DIRECTV's addition yesterday of nine new MLB-operated team channels for the Cincinnati Reds, Detroit Tigers (Detroit SportsNet), Kansas City Royals, Miami Marlins, Milwaukee Brewers, Seattle Mariners, St. Louis Cardinals, Tampa Bay Rays, and Washington Nationals.
DIRECTV also carries the Texas Rangers' Rangers Sports Network (January 2025), the Chicago White Sox's Chicago Sports Network (October 2024), the Houston Astros' Space City Home Network (October 2023), and the Chicago Cubs' Marquee Sports Network (February 2020).
DIRECTV continues to offer regional sports networks for the Baltimore Orioles (MASN), Boston Red Sox (NESN), Los Angeles Dodgers (Spectrum SportsNet LA), New York Mets (SportsNet New York), New York Yankees (YES Network), Athletics (NBC Sports California), Pittsburgh Pirates (SportsNet Pittsburgh), and San Francisco Giants (NBC Sports Bay Area). Philadelphia Phillies games are available to out-of-market fans via MLB.TV (streaming) and MLB Extra Innings (satellite).
