Talented actress Gcina Nkosi, who's known for playing Nomvelo's Makhanya's on-screen mother Zinzile Ngema in Scandal! has reportedly joined Generations The Legacy.

HAS GCINA NKOSI JOINED GENERATIONS: THE LEGACY'? Fakaza reports that insiders from SABC1's soapie Generations: The Legacy have revealed that actress Gcina Nkosi, who currently plays Zinzile Ngema in Scandal! has exited the e.tv soapie after Nomvela Makhanya's departure.
The publication adds that there's no information on how long her character will be on the show or what character she will play at this stage.

The actress also took a break from the show this year to film the third season of Mzansi Magic's Sunday drama eHostela, which premiered on 3 July.
She was joined by The River actor Siyabonga Thwala, Imbewu: The Seed actor Tony Kgoroge and many more.
Sowetan reported that the plot line depicted the war that starts after a criminal mastermind is murdered by his partner in crime (Thwala) after a disagreement. His widow (Nkosi) is out for blood as she seeks to avenge his death.

SCANDAL!': THE NGEMA FAMILY EXIT SOAPIE The departure of Nomvelo Makhanya, who played Nkosi's daughter Lindiwe Ngema might cause Nkosi's storyline to be discounted as her on-screen husband Patrick Mofokeng has also joined Generations: The Legacy.
Mofokeng, who's been playing Mlungisi Ngema for nearly a decade and plays Mandla in 1Magic's cancelled telenovela Lingashoni joined the SABC1 soapie in November.
He currently plays the character of Doctor Luyolo's (Karabo Maseko) father and Ayanda Borotho's on-screen husband. Nkosi's departure comes a few days after Makhanya revealed on social media that she nearly killed herself because of the toxic work environment at e.tv's Scandal!
Scandal! did not yet confirm yet Gcina Nkosi's departure at the time of publishing this article.
