Appear, the leader in media processing and delivery technology, today announced a significant update to its HEVC and AVC compression solutions at IBC 2024 (Hall 1. B41), further solidifying its market leadership in low-latency media transmission. Through its award-winning X Platform, Appear can now deliver up to a 73% improvement in latency performance without compromising picture quality.
These cutting-edge advancements in latency reduction extend Appear's compression suite, which powers live content from ground-to-ground and cloud-to-ground production infrastructures. The enhanced performance of HEVC and AVC compression, now with even lower latency, re-enforces Appear's position as the industry s leading solution for broadcasters and live event producers demanding reliability, flexibility, speed, and scalability.
