Schaeffler Receives Supplier of the Year Award from Gildemeister

Gildemeister, a leading global manufacturer of cutting machine tools, which has a wide range of innovative high-tech machines, services and software solutions, has named Schaeffler as Supplier of the Year for 2012. Robert Schullan, Member of the Executive Board at Schaeffler AG and President of Schaeffler Industrial, accepted the award from Timo Rickermann, Head of Corporate Purchasing at Gildemeister AG, in Pfronten.

Schaeffler received the 2011 Supplier of the Year award in the Quality category, so the fact that the company has now gone one better by winning the overall prize reflects its wide range of expertise as a supplier. In addition to the companys high level of quality, the award is also recognition for Schaefflers innovative ability and delivery reliability. These aspects characterize both companies in equal measure and are essential for permanent competitiveness on an international level and for long-term customer relationships.
